Someone has asked for a quote for a full size bride and groom. Does anyone have any idea what a charge should be. I have never had to make anything this big before

Thanks as always

Hi

Here is my attempt at applying the Dave Brennon mask concept to Mario. Pretty pleased with how it turned out but feedback as always welcomed!

Thanks

Picture Gallery / The Dark Knight
January 27, 2013, 02:27:34 PM
Hi after buying the DVD months ago I finally got round to making 'bug man' aka batman aka the dark knight from Ken Stillmans superheroes 2. I altered the head in preference for the 2 heart version seen on many of the other figures and added the cape. The end result is below. I love it and it is one of my favourite models to date. Spiderman next for a ordered boys birthday gift

Cheers rob

Picture Gallery / Beating - Characters
January 20, 2013, 12:41:55 PM
Hi

My copy of the characters by Beating has arrived and although more than I wanted to pay at £110 I have now had chance to make the first i am well chuffed with Daffy. As Darren said in his review some of the bubble sizes need some thinking about but the end product is just fantastic. The book itself is brilliant and although expensive it was worth every penny. More to follow when i get chance.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Ken Stillman - Superheroes
October 23, 2012, 07:03:49 PM
Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of either volume 1 or 2 of Ken Stillman's Superheroes? I have just been to the US and bought a copy but on returning home it's gone. Not sure whether I lost it here or in the US. Even more of a downer is that I have not even watched it yet:-(

Any help would be appreciated. I bought the 5' blush hearts at the same time and now have no instructions

Thanks

Hi

Have been away for while practicing and so not posted a picture in some time. I have been trying to work on Yoda and found a couple of balloon versions to give me some inspiration. What I achieved is below. Pretty happy with it I am.....

Hi

I just did a friends wedding and as I am still learning I made some models in advance and then planned to do slightly smaller things. The chaos then took place, I had no orderly queue, parents and kids trying to jump forward and of course everyone wanted the most complex thing. I guess my question is how complex do people go in a crowd, how do you keep order and as more experienced ballooners do you  allow a maximum time per model etc

Thank and all advice welcome (and needed)

Balloon Chit Chat / Advice on videos and books
March 17, 2012, 08:02:24 PM
Hi

My balloon twisting is progressing well after just 5 months or so. I wanted to get some advice on how to best improve? Do people think you can learn enough on YouTube or is it best to get DVDs/books and if so which are the best?

Any advice welcome

Thanks

Hi everyone

This is my first post and I have only been twisting for about5 months. Have caught the bug and loving every minute. The forum is fantastic and I am all ready seeing so many fantastic balloon models I am excited to keep learning. I have attached something I did for a birthday recently. Still so much to learn but I was really pleased!!

Thanks and looking forward to conversing with you all
