This week I had a go at making Grahams Tiffany lamp....I chose this out of thousands of others on balloon chat as It's a gorgeous design.

I made it to enter the competition to win a Blackpool Balloon Bash ticket...I'm already going but would give to someone that can't afford to go.

Here is my attempt of the cat from an artist Balloon TwistTEE who's work is gorgeous.
I didn't quite capture the cuteness and mine is rather chunky...but I like that.
I'm glad Graham chose this for our challenge.
And for his help on how to do the eyes...thank you!!!

Here is my effort....I decided to make him 3 foot 6.
Next time I would give him wider hips. his light on chest has a real light in 😆

I've decided to add another boy design to the challenge.....this being iron man....I havent seen many designs so perfect for us to try 😊

From the side and rear.

I liked the choice of Wizard and just started playing with balloons with no particular set plan in head.
It all started coming together and looking very cartoony.
I used a heart with raisins for his beard. The body is quite simple but works and looks best from the front.

Penfolds head was more fiddly especially his glasses.
I think he would look better if I distorted the round as he has big cheeks.

So anyway here is my attempt.
I decided to use a geo for Danger Mouse head, it held together well.
I did start off with distorted 160 inside a 5 inch pink round for the ears
but they were not round enough so changed to just 5 inch rounds.

I asked my children what challenge do you think we should make.... hmmm they said...Danger Mouse!  I said that's from when I was little in the 1980s ....they said no it's on a channel  called Pop today.

As well as doing the balloon I like to match with a face paint.

I decided to make trousers using a heart....a little fiddly using a 6 inch....would be easier with a larger heart.
I could not create the right skin colour as she is lighter than mocha.
But I just used mocha as I felt blush was too pale. I also only had white hearts so I changed the colour on an app as she wears blue green or lilac mostly.

I added details and some bling 😊

This was one that really did challenge me as I made the body part a few times to get throw striped part right at hiscwaist. Some balloons I make flow from start to finish but this was more tricky, but I got there in the end and quite happy with him.

I wanted to make a boys superhero design and seeing as Avengers have been in the cinema lots lately I decided to go with Captain America.
