What do you use to draw the white on the red? Is it a special balloon sharpie?

I'm terrible at drawing faces and other details on balloons. Sometimes I make a wonderful creation and ruin it with my pathetic drawing skills. I am one of those people with terrible handwriting and have always been rubbish at drawing as a kid. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can improve this?

Has anyone had any experience with selling balloons at trade and craft fairs? I'm particularly interested in those based in the UK, but still please share your opinion if you are based in another country. My idea is to set up a stall at a craft fair with some interesting designs try to sell them and hopefully generate some interest in children's parties. Any thoughts on this idea?

I've been learning this monkey tutorial

It's going quite well but when I make the head one of a few things happens, either the ear pops or one of the 4 mouth shaped tubes deflates. It seems that theres a lot of twists going into the same joints and the pressure around the joints is causing it.

I must be doing something wrong? It's driving me crazy aaaah!
