That is the question! I have only really used 260 balloons and found I could do most things I wanted to. I still only twist for pleasure and so was wondering if it is worth investing in 350s so I can explore other models ( for example the model of the month which did not look good with 260 tyres).
Any advice for a novice is gratefully received.

I think these are great. I particularly love the bags . Are the animals inside them just heads or have they got bodies as well?

Here is my attempt. Tried to do it from eye but did need instructions for the wheels. Only have 260 balloons so hence small wheels. Not as tidy or neat as yours but pretty pleased with my hours effort.  

Here is my witch, would work using blush balloon for your characters. I based mine on a you tube video, I think it was warrenann who posted it. Hope this helps.

Sounds like fun competition. Here is my very simple effort to start things. Not sure if this is where to post it but here you go. Am sure everyone does stuff like this.

Sounds like a challenge, have you thought about doing it blue peter style (here is one I made earlier). Have parts of a large model made and create a dialogue for putting together and adding finishing touches.

Seasons greetings to everyone at balloon chat. My name is Stuart and I am a new member to the forum. I have only been twisting for about six months and largely just for fun. Anyway, I am looking forward to some balloon chat as my wife (whilst tolerant) does not share my enthusiasm for all things balloon modelling.
I have learnt what I know from you tube videos and am quite proud of stuff I have achieved so far. Will try to attach a photo of my Santa, based on a variety of designs.
Hope to be involved in discussions in the future.
