I have been playing around with an idea and I made this Bernese Mountain Dog

I have started seeing people posting photos of various poppies in the Run up to Remembrance day on November 11th, so I thought I would put something together myself, I have just finished making this scene.

Here is a Day of the Dead skull made completely from scraps of balloons I had lying around, so its basically a dead balloon 'Day of the Dead' balloon.

For the last few months I have been thinking of doing a new photo project and I have decided it will start on this coming weekend. For the next 26 weeks I will post one photo a week featuring an endangered species, Starting with A and travelling through the alphabet all the way to Z. My hope is that I am going to bring awareness to some of those not so well known endangered species around the world, maybe there will be some that you didnt even know were threatened and there will be some that you didnt even know existed.

As I did for Twisted Cinema I will post the photos on Balloon Chat first, they will appear here on the Friday and then everywhere else on Saturday.

so to start us off, my first species is obviously something that begins with A and happens to be an Amphibian from Mexico.

Here it is folks, taking place in the newly renovated Spice Island Inn in Historic Old Portsmouth. It's from 4 until 6pm on Wednesday 16th november. A few of us usually meet for some lunch at 2pm in Gunwharf Quays.

I was asked to make a life sized Elvis Costello balloon for a surprise party tonight, one of the main features about Elvis Costello is his glasses and I struggles to make them out of balloons however I came up with a compromise.

I asked some friends to identify him last night with no clues as to who he was and they immediately said that's Elvis Costello.

I have finally found a new venue for the Portsmouth Balloon Jam and our next get together is on April 20th 2016 from 4pm until 10pm

It will be taking place at the Spice Island Inn on Broad Street in Old Portsmouth - //http://www.spiceisland-portsmouth.co.uk/

Please note this is a balloon JAM - not a class!

The jam is free to attend but please bring your own balloons.
We have a private room called the Chippy in the pub - and food and drinks are available from the bar.

There is parking very close to the venue and the IOW Ferry and Portsmouth Harbour Railway station is just 15 minute walk away.

I am just home from the Isle of Wight Balloon jam and I had a lovely time overseas with all the other balloonies.
