No Graham, I have never been left alone with the kids and I would never want to be, it is a requirement of the cruise line that kids entertainers are checked.

I don't see a problem with your cats tail, its fine , you did a great job with both of those models, I must try the duck sometime, here is my attempt at the Cat.

There are a fair few jobs I DO which require me to have a CRB/DBS, I need one to do the cruise ships and various schools and Playgroups so for me it is important to have one.

Helen, my agent is a friend of mine who has been my agent for many years now. To be honest I am not sure how they deal with the CRB/DBS thing.

You do not need an agent to join Equity.

As far as I am aware they are still not legal requirements but a lot of places such as schools, playgroups and shopping centres request that you have them.

My Public Liability insurance is provided by Equity and is worth every penny, it costs from about £100 a year I think, I cant remember but the website should let you know - //http://www.equity.org.uk

As for CRB checks, I am unsure how these are gained, I get mine through my agent, I renew it every year although I am told that they are not valid for any set amount time, I think the problem is that the moment you get a CRB check done it becomes out of date as it only covers the time up until the date the check was done. I am not sure how much this costs.
