It is indeed Rob

After some research, it appears to be by Matt Falloon

Having spoken to him, he doesnt have any stills to work from as the shoot was too manic   !!

Will have to pause the video sometime and have a go!

I like this a lot - especially the dinosaur!

Any ideas on original design / stills of the design?

Thanks!

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Balloons as a reward in school?
December 03, 2014, 10:23:37 PM
As an ex teacher (escaped!), I used to do this....however - be very careful with latex allergies

i used to do it as a raffle type system - if kids do something good, i give them a scrap of paper, they put their name on, the more good things they do, (ie participate, get on with work etc) the more tickets they get, therefore more chance of winning in the 'prize draw' at the end of the lesson, where i make something before doing the draw.

i also kept the balloon until the end of the day as it would be unlikely to survive a school day if won during p1 and also gave me a chance to praise the child if warranted!

Like i said tho - take care with allergies!!

Summary

A nice set of designs, clear instructions and well worth the £16 investment.

The Olaf (both designs) and reindeer are my favourites, the princesses are lovely as well, if I were to be picky, the wearable princesses could be added onto the doll videos instead of purchasing seperatley as they are basically the same model.

Overall thought - 9/10 - buy it NOW!

Frozen princess wearable

As, the Ice Queen wearable, basically the same as the Frozen Princess doll, but used as a bracelet / hairband

This time, Holly attaches the cape first and it is much easier!

I made the mouth too big on this one but left it as it was just a practice!  :D

Snowman hairband

A very cute, quick snowman, I like this a lot and can see me using it regularly (once stocked up with white geos)

He uses a head / eye technique that was new to me - very workable for a number of designs, I think i over inflated it a bit, meaning a slightly larger head than Id like.

Holly also explains the artwork well though I feel my effort could be better - i think the eyes need to be slightly larger

i can see this one being very popular, the 7 petal flower base took me the longest!

Ice Queen Wearable

Essentially the same design as the Ice Queen doll, used as a headband / bracelet, without the dress

Nice design but could be added onto the doll tutorial?

Thanks Stuart

I personally have a quicker Anna and Elsa but not as impressive

Olaf - perfectly do-able in a party situation, particularly with a quicklink, ive had another go at the head tonight without the video and its very quick and easy, going to premiere this at saturdays party :)

Reindeer

A variation on the reindeer I currently use, is fairly big and impressive, using a body design which is new to me.

The model goes together well and the final result is very nice, although tough to get a good photo of.

My second favourite after the snowman

Frozen Princess

Similar to the Ice Queen, with different colours. Holly uses mocha brown for the hair, I decided on orange as I think this is what she has in the film. The addition of the pigtails is a nice touch

One point about this one is, is to attach the cape before attaching the head. Blindly following the video, i attached the head and then struggled to get the cape on properly - Holly does mention this, but only near the end

A nice model overall, slightly trickier than the Ice Queen
