Hi All!
I was wondering if we had a balloon olympics what kind of events could there be? :)
Your ideas and suggestions please....
The 100m balloon raspberry competition, inflate a 260 let it go then where it lands re-inflate and let it go again and again and again etc etc etc.

Make a ride in (like motorbike/ horse etc) and do 100m hurdles (although I think the hurdles would have to be very low as I can't jump over anything bigger than a plant pot these days!!!)
We ran a balloon olympics during the first New Zealand Convention...Pretty simple, balloon archery and agate balloon shock putt. Was great fun, and got everyone outside and moving...
The hundred metre balloon chase, you let go of a fully inflated. 260 and aim to catch it.
How about the synchronized model make.
Some GREAT ideas!
How about, make a one balloon dog & lead and walk the dog 50 metres! Stop for a balloon poo half way (the dog, not you!).
Another - fully inflated 260 then one finger in the end and let it fly. Furthest one wins!
There are of course existing balloon competitions, one balloon, small, medium and large sculptures. And Iron man competitions where all competitors get the same type & amount of balloons to make the most creative sculpture.
