Well to be honest it came as a complete surprise as it's an American site & I only post occasionally with the very odd picture & trying to plug the care & share days etc. I did feel like telling them to have a look on balloon chat to see what we're up to but I think it would be in very poor taste to advertise this site on someone else's balloon forum.
Thy same way as I feel about giving a part of your site exactly the same name as another balloon forum, in my opinion it's just not the done thing.

In my opinion, there would have been nothing wrong with letting everyone on mbd2 know about this site. These balloon forums are not really in competition with each other. They are compliments to each other. Each, while still overlapping a great deal in what they offer, offers something different to their members which opens the door for even more social and business networking in the balloon industry. It's no different than having 3 great entertainers living and working in the same city. Each entertainer will be different when it comes to style and presentation, but if you couldn't do a gig, you would be comfortable with referring a client to one of them.
Congrats again on the mbd2 MOM award. Thanks for sharing over there and for this site!
