Computer genius/Web designer I am not, but I started playing around with MS Frontpage a few years back and found it very simple and easy to use (if you get stuck just click the help button). I built my site in about a day, I'm still not finished and I'm constantly adding to it, but aren't we all? Take a look and tell me what you think http://www.milotheclown.co.uk

I bought my hosting through uk-cheapest.co.uk and have found their package to be very user friendly, I pay £29.00/year and this is what's included: https://www.uk-cheapest.co.uk/hosting.php

I can change anything I like whenever I like, I can set up my mailto:milo@milotheclown.co.uk">milo@milotheclown.co.uk emails to be received in MS Outlook, I can have sub domains to keep twisting, clowning, DJing etc separate, I can have several different email addresses, php forums, photo gallaries, live chat ....... The list goes on.

If you have MS Frontpage on your PC I would suggest having a little play – I'm more than happy to help out if you get stuck.

Regards

Milo.

Hi Milo,
I like your page but I think it needs to be a bit brighter

I did play around with the colours a bit and was quite careful when choosing the final design, I tend to stay away from really bold colours as they aren't so easy on the eye and the text contrasts a bit better against a pastel background. I think much of it comes down to personal preference.

I tried to make the layout as user friendly as possible so the main focus was on keeping it simple and easy to navigate, hopefully the photo galleries will help to brighten things up?

You will probably find that the colours come out a little lighter if you are on a laptop depending on the angle you are looking at the screen – My desktop shows a completely different colour to my laptop and I wouldn't really want to go much brighter than the desktop colour.

I had my banners for the DJ setup and business cards etc printed up last week and I did them on a black background with really bright colours, I think that works quite well for dark disco rooms and the like.

It's good to hear other people's opinions – What does everyone else think? If I get lots of feedback to say the colours should be brighter perhaps I'll give it a go.

I like the colours in the Milo's Entertainment, The clowns look like they could have been about three or four times larger to make them even more prominent.
Have to agree with Dave about your site colours, they do look very pastel.
