I got into balloon modelling a few years ago after discovering it wasn't as difficult as I once thought. Don't get me wrong, it's a talent but not as hard as I was expecting. Having said that many of the balloon creations I have seen on this site are very complicated and I'm not sure if I'll ever be as good as them.

I wasn't be rude when I said it wasn't as difficult as I thought. As I said it is a talent and many balloon models are difficult. But I was expecting it to be a lot harder. I was surprised.

Last time I went on holiday fun stuff happened. Why shouldn't this time be different?

I agree i think modelling balloons is easy i have just made a sculpture that is so complex that even the likrs of buster and  brenion  would not attempt....
...its the worm and i can make it with one balloon.......lol

Balloon modelling is not easy but not as difficult as I was expecting. I never said it was easy.

And so it begins again.  Sigh.  

Daniel, as has been asked many times before...please post some of your work before telling us how much easier it is than you thought it would be.  I've already heard you spout several times before how much easier it is than it looks.  Yes, a three twist dog isn't difficult, which is why we teach it to eight year olds.  As with many professions, there are different levels.  The basics of just about anything aren't that difficult.  That's why they are called "the basics".  Please show me that you are past the basics, and then tell me how "easy" it is.

As I have made very clear many times, I have not said that balloon modelling is not a skill. All I said is that balloon modelling is not as difficult as I was expecting, like many talents.

You seem to believe that I think that it's easy regardless of what is made, which is not true. Seems that like before people are taking what I say the wrong way. I suggest people read my comments properly.

I was expecting dogs, swords and many more basic balloon models to be a lot more difficult too. As I have said many times, there are many balloon creations I have seen on this site which are very difficult to make, however I'm sure with most, not as difficult as I would expect.

The same can be said with ventriloquism, juggling and many other talents. They are difficult but when you know the secrets not as hard as you thought.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT IT IS NOT A SKILL AND IT IS ALWAYS EASY. JUST NOT AS DIFFICULT AS I WAS EXPECTING. I DO NOT SEE HOW THIS IS UNFAIR ON PROFESSIONAL BALLOON MODELLERS.
