Greetings,

Having typed in balloon forum in Google this forum came up.
I actually recently took a stronger interest in working with balloons as a result of seeing a funny episode of the BBC's Oddbox: http://news.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/hi/newsb ... 575653.stm featuring a gentleman named Addi Somekh ( http://www.newballoonart.com/ ) playing a Bass Balloon. I've actually made one from instructions he put on YouTube and found it fairly easy to make and fun to play.

Since then I have begun to make videos featuring balloons, specifically popping them using lasers for example: http://d.ro/lasertripleplay . I share my videos on laserpointerforums.com's multimedia section: http://laserpointerforums.com/f48/

As a result of this I'm now working on a project where I'll need to blow up hundreds of balloons and needed to purchase an electric pump. I really didn't know anything about balloon pumps and essentially just looked for one that was fairly economical and found one. Being a video making person I made an entertaining and informative video about it that I thought that balloon folks might enjoy: http://d.ro/balloondemo

Anyways, I'm going to have a look around your folks' fine forums.
I'll check back on my post here to look for responses.

Cheers!

Welcome!

Todd Neufeld did a demonstration at the first Twister Think Tank, popping a black heart-shaped balloon inside of a clear heart-shaped balloon.  I love all of the possibilities with this, but I haven't been able to find the proper laser-pointer to do this.  He also mentioned that the stronger, more-desireable ones may have been outlawed (in the USA, anyway)?
