Nice to meet you all. My name is Derek, and I am from Toronto, Canada. I am a computer/tech. guy in trade, and a hobbyist in magic and balloon twisting. My path on balloon twisting started from a Qualatex kit I got from a yard-sale long time ago, where I learned how to do basic animals like doggy and bunny, but nothing too fancy and I didn't put too much time on it. Until recently I went with my son to his friend's birthday party, where they hired a clown to do balloon twisting. I saw all the amazing figures the clown can make, which made me want to learn more. I started to search for resources on the internet, and that's how I found this chat room. I consider myself still very green in the balloon art, and am looking forward to expand my knowledge and learn from other balloon artists around the globe.
