Haldo! I am excited to be a part of this forum! I started twisting balloons as a hobby about 10 years ago. After a few years I stopped for a long time, mostly because I didn't have any purpose besides simply twisting for fun. Last September though, I got back into twisting and I have been running with it ever since. I am working for a local company and I twist at a restaurant some weekends and at parties on occasion. I am going to a Comic-Con this year in March, and I have a goal to make a balloon dress to wear to Con. I have never made a dress, but I have wanted to ever since I started twisting. Many years ago (not even sure when anymore) I made these mini dresses (about a foot tall). But I have come a long way since then. Back then I was 100% self taught. Since then I have had two friends that are twisters (one of which is my current boss) that have taught me a lot. I am learning new things every day and loving every minute. I am truly passionate about balloons. I twist balloons in my head to help me fall asleep, and I am able to visualize how a sculpture might turn out before I make it. I don't know if I will ever make this my full time job, but it a perfect and very fun on the side job for now!
