Hi everybody,
I'm new to twisting, but started doing balloon decor about 8 years ago, had started my QBN tests, but never finished them, just about to start getting back in to the decor side of things, and registered with Qualatex!  I attempted a Care and Share Day last year but gave up half way through because I just couldn't get to grips with it (pardon the pun!)  A face painting friend asked me to cover a job for her, but she needed balloon modelling too, so I dug out my hand pumps and started practicing a few weeks ago watch youtube videos!  Must admit I've got the balloon twisting bug now!
Attended the Manchester Care and Share Day, and I'm chuffed with my little self for actually attempting everything this time round!!!  Had a go of using the filbert and I love it, so may just have to save up and invest in one!
Got lots and lots to learn, so will keep practicing, my insurance company have covered me for twisting as part of my PLI package.
I'm based in Runcorn, Cheshire and offer face painting body art and themed kids parties, I'm a mum to 2 very boisterous boys and have an art background.

We're having a pub jam (a few drinks and an informal twist session) at the Swan Pub in Winick in a few weeks if you are interested. It is a great place to learn in an informal setting. If you are interested I'll let you have more details. Think it is the first Thursday in July @ about 8-8.30pm start.
